Salty Soul is the love child of my friend Aimee and me. We spent our 'spare' time creating a brand that we felt represented our love of Brighton, artwork, and the slow fashion, print on demand, environmentally friendly aproach to clothing.
XD has become my go to app from the Adobe Creative Suite. It's great for wireframes, designs, logos and prototypes.
Sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty with some code - it's the only way to push what's possible with a CMS.
I usually start with some scribbling on paper - needless to say some coffee and biscuits are also essential tools!
